Character Quirks
Little things about characters, things that didn't make the final cut, facial oddities
REECE
Originally, Reece was going to be the 'bad boy'. A.K.A the biggest douche in the school, except to Vinnie. (obviously that didn't make it in.)
- His eyes really are a goldish color, but I have custom defaults so they look it a bit iffy with the whole vampy glow.
- I tried making his skin as human as possible. So he wasn't so grey and...well dead.
VINNIE
Vinnie's character has been pretty consistent since the 'Introduction.'
- Going back and looking at it, Vinnie's wardrobe sucked in the first few chapters. I eventually got a new skin and eye defaults and BAM. She's hot.
- The necklace (pictured above) does have a significance to the story, It's a clock so it ties in with Blu.
- Vinnie does have a full first name. It's Vivienne. It was mentioned by Koran once or twice and in the Crack Chap.
- Her hair also has a meaning. But I'm not telling.
KAYA
She was at first the super-nerd, but I think she's kinda badass now.
- I tried making his skin as human as possible. So he wasn't so grey and...well dead.

- The reason she was so quickly accepted into Axel's group (Abby, Reece, Axel, Wallace, Anika, Maria) was because she comes from an incredibly rich and powerful family.
- She is one of the only current humans that is a main character.
AXEL

Reece's best friend, side kick, and always there to slap him into his place.
- Axel is indeed a supernatural. It was mention in Chapter Fourteen during his phone conversation with Reece. And in the Crack Chap.
- He is a wizard.
- No Hogwarts doesn't exist in their world, it was a joke.
- Axel has a close relationship with Reece, but he isn't the closest to him.
- He has healing powers, shown in Chapter Nineteen.
MARIA
She's a bitch. That's it.
- She was once Reece's best friend. They were introduced as children.
- She's always been in love with Reece.
- After finding out about the prophecy, she changed and made it her mission to keep humans (and girls in general) away from him. Even if it means nearly murdering Vinnie.
- She taunted Vinnie about her parents yet she has a very distant relationship to her own.
- In Chapter Six Maria says; "JEALOUSY?! You think I'm JEALOUS of that white-haired brat?! SHE'S the one that should be jealous of me. I'm rich. I live in a mansion. I have a boyfriend." She doesn't really have a boyfriend. She was making a point to Vinnie as if to say "I can have any boy I want."
LAURI
- He is a wizard.

Time-Jumper. He's cool.
- The scars on his face are from traveling adventures.
- He is essentially a time lord (doctor who) but not really. He has no TARDIS and he doesn't regenerate.
- The pocket watch he wears in his vest is what lets him time-jump.
- His hair is not actually blue. He dyes it to make fun of his name.
- I have hinted many times about the eyes, which are identical to Vinnie's.
EMILY

He's a bad guy. But he's kinda sexy.
- He really is Rasco's brother, despite them having like nothing in common.
- Originally HE had the name Rasco, because he's reckless and evil. Koran is way too sophisticated. But I made a mistake so it's just ironic now.
- He wears an Ankh, also irony, which shows up in a later chapter on a female. This is purposeful and has meaning.
He's a creep. And has son problems.
- He was supposed to have the name Koran (read above)
- Rasco did love his wife, but he's so closed-minded about socializing with humans.
- Reece is his only child, therefore the only heir to the Hawkwood line.
- In Vinnie's Memory chapter, it was him and Koran at her house.
- Daminier is Rasco and Koran's father; Reece's grandfather.
Hidden Hints
Little things hidden in pictures, and sentences.
I got lazy and didn't want to spend time making Abby a custom boyfriend so i plucked him from the bin.
This window in Reece's bedroom looks out onto the bridge, so you can see Vinnie's house.
That was unplanned and coincidentally awesome.
That stick in the distance is Koran.
I was hoping someone would catch that but they didn't.
The clock really is at 8:46, I waited a whole (sim) hour for it to happen.
Koran's soda from Chapter Thirteen is still there when Reece rescues Vinnie.
That was just lazy of me.
But I guess it shows how much neither Koran nor Maria really cared.
This is the same scar-make-up from when she was all bloody.
I just changed a color on the make-up to match her skin tone and BAM.
Non-bloody scars.
Church the cat is in the story because in earlier chapters I didn't have Nraas Portrait Panel so I was bouncing between households. And while I was out of Vinnie's I got a pop-up saying Lauri adopted a cat. So I kept him because he's cute.
He is name after two people:

If you take out a phone, one that has letters on the numbers, you should be able to figure this out.
Reece is supposed to be 5 or so inches taller than Vinnie. But this is the sims so height doesn't exist -_-
If When I write the novel form of WITW, there will be emphasis on their height difference, but seeing as this story includes pictures, there will be few references to it.
THIS dress that Vinnie wore to Axel's party is the same dress that she was wearing in
Reece's Nightmare. Which is why he was freaked out when he saw her AND
why I didn't show her full body until she met up with him.
Vinnie's outfit in Chapter 31 is colored symbolically. Green for her eyes and blue for Blu.
The desk Reece is at in Chapter 34 is the same as the one in

Chapter 14. I just turned it around so Maria's entrance into the scene would have a greater effect.
All of the couples in the background of this picture come from a different story or legacy. The lesbian couple is from my personal legacy, the Generation 6 heiress (Elayna Marie) and her spouse (Emma). The man (Henry) being blocked by Vinnie and woman (Hana) walking away with a baby are from a novel I started awhile back and I simified the main cast. The man (Gideon) and child (Cate) daughter are from the same legacy as the lesbian couple. The young (Evan & Angela) couple with the baby is from the same novel as Henry and Hana.
Alexa, the shapeshifter from Chapter 38 is more than meets the eye. I wrote her as the protagonist in a novel (same as above) but then put the whole thing on the back-burner to work on a newer idea. A while later I started WITW and here we are now. HOWEVER, I realized that Alexa and Vinnie were rather similar, and by that I mean their characters were almost identical. Different-ish personalities but their lives and pasts line up perfectly. Instead of scraping Alexa's character I guess I subconsciously turned her into Vinnie.
